Regarding The business central licensing required to create datapoints to use in Power BI.

What License does a user need to create web services (standard pages/queries)?
What licenses does a user need to create custom queries or retrieve data via an API?

In short:

Essentials/Premium: Full rights to create/publish web services and custom queries.

Team Member: Can consume APIs but cannot create or publish new ones.
