Hi Experts,

In Signing Limit Policy i.e for Purchase Requisition Spending Limit + Job rule - does it specifically refer to a Requester or Preparer?

In Purchase Order Spending Limit - this limit amount pertains to the Orderer or Requester ?

Appreciate your feedback.

I have the same question (0)

in workflow you can check approval amount with requester's spending limit

    Prepaper just acts on behalf

    same with PO

    Hi Rahul

Thanks for your feedback.  I just want to clarify the setup in SL policy and Workflow condition.

In workflow condition - there are separate fields for Preparer's spending limit and Requester's spending limit.   However in SL policy there is only one column to indicate Spending Limit amount.  See picture below in yellow box.

My question:  Is the Spending amount  in SL policy, is it for Preparer or for Requester?    Where is the limit amount for the other one setup?

    Hi Pamski,

As Rahul said, you check the requester's spending limit in workflow and the preparer is just responsible for managing the PR throughout the review process.docs.microsoft.com/.../overview-of-a-purchase-requisition-workflow

And the signing limit rules just specify the spending and approval limits for each document type (PR/PO). So for your question, it is the requester.
