Business Process Flow - How to set it on certain forms?

Hi

I have created a Business Process Flow a custom entity that has enabled business process flows when I established it.  Yet when I go into the main form for this entity I cannot see the flow at the top of the page.  Also in the process icon it is not visible.

My question is how do I set which form the BPF appears on?

Thanks

Did you activate the business process flow?

Thank you James, I did, however it has just occurred to me that I hadn't switched on in the security settings, silly me.  this still leaves the question unanswered in how do I determine which view form i can attach it to.  It just adds to the default form without me selecting this.

    Regards Darren

    Hi Darren,

At the creation time the BPF is related to the entity. Then on the BPF page you can Edit Security Roles. This is where you specify when this BPF will show. But you can set this based on security roles and not form(so "security role 1" assigned to the bpf means the bpf will show for the specific entity only for users that have the "security role 1" assigned to them). As a workaround you can create a new security role to be used strictly by people using the specified form then to assign this security role to the BPF. Event like that you might end up with several BPF for the same user. The CRM will remember the last used BPF or you have the Process drop down button where you can select the wanted bpf.
