    Hi Rupali,

You need customizations to get the field from another table.

The simple option is a flowfield: docs.microsoft.com/.../devenv-creating-flowfields-and-flowfilters

Problem there being a PO and the item table other than a Vendor No. don’t have much of a relationship. Do you mean get an item from the purchase lines related to the PO? If so the flowfield would be for the purchase line table and would only ever be able to show one result.

There is another pattern where you use a codeunit on open of the page to iterate through each record it finds a match with. At least with this one you can define how much data the field holds. So you could pull in more item numbers. Examples of a codeunit being used to pull in information from other places can be seen in factboxes. Check out the purchase/saws line details

    Hello,

If you want to show item number from Item List to Purchase Order list then you must create extension for that.

Big Question is what if the purchase order have more than 1 item number? In that scenario do you want to show first item number or all item numbers with | (Pipe). Anyway I am adding the code for multiple as well single item number.

    Code for single Item Number:

    16-Dec-2-Item-to-PO.png

    Solution:

    16-Dec-3-Item-to-PO.png

    Code for Multiple Item Numbers:

    16-Dec-4-Item-to-PO.png

    Solution:

    16-Dec-5-Item-to-PO.png

    Signed, Sealed and Delivered.
