Hi,
Need little advice, On purchase Order's at the moment we have got Item unit of measure set to cases to calculate the total quantity, I want to add another field next to Line Amount that will calculate the total amount of quantity in kilos using the net weight in the item card.
Field Line Amount Kg = Quantity * Net Weight
Can you please let me know the best way to do this? thanks in advance.

    Hi,

In summary here are steps -

    1. Add a new field via tableextension in the Purchase Line Table.
    2. Using page extension add that field into purchase order subform page.
    3. Using a codeunit subscribe to event OnAfterValidate for field quantity.
    4. Write your logic in the subscribed event.
