Hi,

I want to send email from CRM to contact with image on body of email as shown below screen-shot. I am using CRM 2016 on premises version. But I could not paste any image on body of mail. I am using normal word mail merge option to send mails to customers. Kindly provide solution to send mail from CRM email activity.

I am getting below screen when I send from crm email activity.

I think you can make another repository for images and add img tag in the html , it will render correctly at the receiver end.

Hi Noushad,

this is out of the box behavior of CRM - you cannot copy paste an image to email template as when you render the template - it will vanish.

As mentioned above - you must have this image hosted publicly hosted somewhere from where you can refer this image. In that way -it will not go.

Hi,

When you include inline image in the image body, you actually do not include the image data, but only image reference. Outlook does not for you for free, but referencing "dragged" email into your body and attaches the image to email as an attachment.

Since all web resources in CRM are private (only for authenticated users), it's not a best practice to reference email from web resource. I'd publish the images to some public domain, and later reference the images published elsewhere.

You can make use of Azure blob storage and make use of this plugin.

You will then need to have an image selector done to read that repo and pick the image accordingly.
