Error message running AR report

When trying to run an AR report, I am getting the following message: "Cannot insert a record.  Current connection intent is Read-Only."    I can run an AP report just fine and I can run all other customer reports.  It is only this one report that I get this message for.

I thought the same thing.  I was the only person in our company who was getting this message, but I am also the only person who had a plugin for credit card payments, so am wondering if that had something to do with it after the latest BC updates?

Good to hear! I still want to understand why this started occurring and only on this report.

Changing the report id 10040 to 'Allow Write' fixed the problem.  I must not have realized there were two reports the last time I went it to try and solve it.  All is good now.  Thanks!

Found in the Database Access Intent Listing two Aged AR reports. Try change report id 10040. That fixed it for me. Would like to know why it has changed however - might still be  bug.

I am getting the same error as are others in our organization.

Only an issue with the Aged Accounts Receivable report that I am experiencing so far.

Try searching for "Database Access Intent" then select the aforementioned report and change the Access Intent to explicitly "Allow Write"

Other users have been able to log in and run the report just fine. At the moment it seems to be just me having this issue.

That report only inserts into temporary tables which any license type can use. Could be a bug. So other user’s experience the same?
