Is there a way during the phone to case conversion to have it also copy the description field to the description field of case. Currently it does not.

Yes you can convert the phone call to case
You wont be able to copy the description via mapping but once the case is created, OnCreate a plugin or Workflow with a Custom Workflow Activity can copy the description from phone call to Case
That's great if I were a Developer or Programmer, but I am not. Thank you for the response. You would think that in the OOTB it would copy all fields that match both records. This is the part about Dynamics that has me head slapping, having to custom fix what should be obvious. Thanks.
