Activities Ownership Cascading to Activities when set to Cascade None

I have set the following Activities to Cascade None on Assign for the Account 1:N relationship: Phone Calls, Emails, Tasks, Appointments

However, when I re-assign the Owner of the Account to any other user I can sporadic and random results on the related Activity records. Some times the related records do not re-assign to the Owner I set the Account to; while within the same record other Activities will re-assign the Owner. I can not consistently get a single Activity Type to break the cascade setting, sometimes its the Phone Call and sometimes its the Email

Does anyone have insight on this behavior?

    HI Rowemc,

Is the relationship behavior parental or configurable cascading(it should be Configurable cascading in your scenario)

Also, i think completed  activities has different behavior. please check the status of activities which are getting assigned
