Deleted SY00500 with Transactions still in the PM10300

Hi, if a client inadvertently deleted the SY00500, but there are still transactions in the PM001300 and the PM apply tables and the PM00400 as a 1.  If we run checklinks on the PM Transaction Logical table will it recreate the SY00500 for us to post?

    Hi,

A slight addition to the answers already received. You mention only the unposted payables transactions. However, since the SY00500 is the table that holds unposted batches for all of the modules, you would need to run check links on all of the transaction tables in order to rebuild the SY00500 table. If you had unposted General Ledger transactions, you would need to run the reconcile utility in financials and select the Batches option.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

Yes. If you run the Checklinks for Payable Transactions Logical file, it will add the deleted batch id.

Or create a new batch in Payable batch window and open the payments in Manual payment window and assign the new batch ID.

    Hope this helps!!!

I imagine the tables you're referring to is the PM10300 and PM10400 tables.  If so, then yes.  You should make a back up prior to running the Check Links process.
