inaccurate email tracking - opens

Hello

We are in the process of moving from HubSpot to Dynamics 365.

When we send emails to our leads and choose to follow the emails. we always get a result that the email was opened "on a windows 10" machine.

It seemed inaccurate, so we tested by sending to multiple external addresses we own (non-public emails like gmail, etc). and we instructed the users not to open the emails. However, the emails still shows that they were opened once.

If the user actually opens the email, the number increases by one. Any one have an idea about this. can this be resolved somehow? if not, are there an external tool that we can use (cost effective) that can replace this?
