How to turn off the budget validation functionality? now this is causing a lot of error messages and templates to not publish without manual intervention.

Can you provide more details or screenshots? Budget validation doesn’t sounds like standard functionality, so you may have a customization or add-on in place.

Hi,

This must be a some customisation or add on installed in Business central as there is no standard functionality of budget validation in GL budgets.
