Hi, Dallefeld, sorry that the last screenshot is a bit misleading, just a hint where to modify all the permissions.
But your suggestion is right, it would be better to set Delete to 'indirect', otherwise it will cause some permission errors when deleting automatically in the background.

    Great info Zhu!

But your last screenshot...doesn't this make all tables able to read, insert and modify.....Though it does prohibit deletes. Should the Delete option be set to 'indirect'?

Hi, Only need to clear the Delete Permission in the user permission set.

And you can use object 0 to control all objects of this type.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

copy the permission sets which is already given to those USERS which is not eligible for delete operation.

and then in copied permission sets keep the delete option as blank for all table data.

and then remove the old permission sets which were given to that users and assign your newly created permission sets.

If my answer was helpful to you, please verify it so that other users know it worked. Thank you very much
