Make one address field as the main address field

Hi!

I have a problem in customizing contact entity.

I have 3 address fields. now I need the user to select one of them as the main address field for each contact.

How can I do it?

Hi Parinaz,

For your question, I don't really understand ‘select one of them as the main address field’.

Do you want to just one address field in the form?

If so, you can lock or hide other address fields that you don’t need.

Go Settings > Customization > Customize the System > Entities > Contact > Form.

Double click the field and open ‘field Properties’ dialog.

If my understanding is wrong, please provide a more detailed description or screenshot.

Actually I want all of the 3 address fields but I want the user to be able to specify one of them as main address field.

Like it's the address of the customer's Central office.

Hi Parinaz,

In contact entity, there is a field named address type, you can set it to make the address as main address.

Hi Parinaz,

In contact entity, there are three default address field, so address type field is three.

But other two address type field just one option, they have no ‘primary’ option, so you can just set address1 as main address.

You can go Settings > Customization > Customize the System > Entities > Contact > Form to add address type field.
