Configuration Package get error to apply the data for Price List (7000)

Hi,
I imported Price List header data, and then I tried to apply it. But the data couldn't be applied to Price List table (7000).
Version: W1 27.4 (Platform 27.0.46208.0 + Application 27.4.45366.46289)

Imported Excel Data

The error message says "The No. Series does not exist. Identification fields and values: Code=''.
No. Series for price list are set in Sales Receivable setup, Purchase Payable setup, and Project setup.
Could you please give me some advice which page I should check? Or is this a bug?

Thank you.
I have the same question (0)

There are no problems when creating it on the page?
I suspect it's a problem with Microsoft standards, which can only be resolved through debugging.
If this is a standard environment, you can submit an SR to Microsoft.

    Thanks.

    Hello,
According to the configuration, the CODE field in the package must be left blank so that it can be assigned automatically.

You could try leaving it blank and applying the package. I have replicated the case in BC27.4.

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards,

    Andrés

    Hello,

This is not a bug — the error occurs because during the Config Package apply process the No. Series value is effectively being read as blank (Code=''), even though your Excel shows values like J-PL, P-PL, etc., which means BC is validating a blank No. Series against the No. Series table and failing; this is almost always caused by a field mapping issue in the package (the “No. Series” field not included, marked to skip, or caption mismatch between Excel and the environment language), or the actual No. Series codes not existing exactly as typed (including spacing) in the No. Series page; verify the series codes exist with lines and are not blocked, re-export the template from the Config Package to ensure exact field captions, paste your data into that template, re-import, and apply again — in 27.4 this validation is strict but expected behavior, not a platform defect.

If you are only creating 4 price lists I'd just add them manually

Why not to temporarily give what it is asking for, it's a one time process anyway.
Just verify the complain and fulfil the demand instead of wasting much time on this I will say.

    Hi,

This error is just another validation which can be ignored.

In the Config Package table, there is boolean of Skip table triggers, enable it.
Also in Config Package fields, when you select fields, there is boolean validate, make it false for Code field.

Now reapply and it will work.

Tick the checkbox below to mark the answer as verified, if it helped resolve your question.

    Regards,
    Dhiren.

    Thanks for advice!
Following the advice, I changed the value of Code field to blank. Then, the data was applied to Price List on Configuration Package.

As another problem, two new records were created on Sales Price Lists. I'll check it.

If you left the code blank, I would expect the configuration package to create new records using the number series.

    )Has this been solved?
I am experiencing the same problem: I can add sales price lists in the UI, but not via configuration package. I would like to have seperate lists per customer, so there are quite a few. I have checked the No series, tried empty code fields and many other configurations, no luck. Round trip, i.e. exporting lines that were created in the UI and re-importing also throws the same error message (The No. Series does not exist. Identification fields and values: Code=''. ).
I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong and would really like to avoid creating lists manually.
