Error when merging contacts

Hi

I get an OrganizationServiceFault error if I try to merge two records. Can anyone help me? This is the ErrorLog I get:

    Hi,

    This is occurring due to the system plugin "Microsoft.Dynamics.Marketing.Plugins: Microsoft.Dynamics.Marketing.Plugins.PreDisassociateEntitiesPlugin", if you deactivate this plugin then the issue should be resolved but if you are using this plugin then you shouldn't deactivate it. In this case, you can reach out to support as yo can't change/ debug this plugin yourself.

    Hi

    I think you are getting this error because during the merge, one of the contact is being deactivated but thats part of a Marketing List.

    Could you check and remove the contact from Marketing list manually and see if you still get this error

    Since the Microsoft.Dynamics.Marketing.Plugins is set to customisation level 0 (meaning its part of the platform), I don't think you will be able to deactivate this plugin.

    If the issue still persists, please share more details around the scenario and you may also have to raise a ticket with MS.
