A client is keen on moving to D365 BC but they are based in Ireland.
Is there a SaaS option for Irish companies?
there is no specific localization for ireland. the client could start either with the w1 standard or GB localisation. for specific law and financial customization the client work best together with an irish local d365bc partner.
A response from Microsoft was that D365 BC SaaS is only available to purchase on CSP within supported countries. Therefore a UK or W1 instance wouldn't be possible for SaaS, a hosted on-prem version of D365 BC would be an option.

To get started developing for MS Dynamics 365 Business Central it is important to understand the different options you have at hand. You can either choose to run a sandbox environment deployed as a Dynamics 365 Business Central service, or you can run a container-based image either hosted as an Azure VM or locally. Both options provide the AL development tools; the container-based sandbox additionally provides access to the C/SIDE development tools.
