Are there any ways I can get back a deleted lead?

You might be able to talk to Microsoft Support, but I think they would have to roll back the whole database, which means you'd lose anything you've done since then.

Is there any way I could backup the data from crm , and store it on site?
I'm sure you could do something like use Scribe to store data off-site, or maybe ask the CRM Online team for a backup of your data, if you don't need things nightly.
Microsoft keeps rather robust backups of your system, but it's against losing systems, not against user error. I don't think they have permission to touch individual records on the CRM Online side of things.

CRM Snapshot has a recent update that will let you rollback records from the Audit history
