Read Excel attachment and create records from plugin

Hello,

I want to read excel attachment file from email record from plugin with out using IL Merge as it is going to deprecated. Please suggest best way to read excel attachment and create records in plugin.

You mean on create of attachment record plugin call azure function and process it?

Hi,

I don't think it will be possible to read excel attachment without using any third part DLL which requires ILMERGE.

Yes, you can register step and invoke Azure function using Plugin registration tool to read excel attachment and create record in Dynamics from azure function.

You can register you webhook to invoke azure function on Email Post Create operaton.
