Recurring General Journals - copy to posted journal lines

Is there any reason why we wouldn't want the recurring general journal lines to copy to posted journal lines?

Currently in our General Journal Templates it's the only one for which that option is not checked.  The employee who was involved in the setup quit without notice a few weeks ago.  Just don't want to flip the switch on it if it would cause errors.

Thanks.

The posted journal lines is an archive of journal lines that you have posted and that you can copy back to another journal at some point if you like.

The recurring journal lines will anyway be kept in the recurring journal so it makes sense to have that switch off for recurring journal.

It's actually not possible to copy recurring general journal lines to posted journal lines - that is probably why its the only one not checked off. If you try to check it off you will get an error message:

Hi, I checked the standard source code, as Valentin tested, there is a control to judge whether Recurring is false, and if it is true, an error will be reported.

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.
