Regarding - Production Journal

Hi all , 

I just need to know the  about the production journal usage and ow to work with that ?

How the data comes in and where it comes from ?

What is the purpose of it .

Can anyone please guide me with clear cut content on production journal .

The table and page hitting when doing transactions 

if anyone aware of it , please let me know which will great  help for me ...

    The production journal is used to register consumption of items and other resources that is used during the production of a finished product. You also use that journal to register the output of your production. And with output we mean the quantity you have produced.

    So the result from posting a production journal hits your inventory through the item ledger entry table and your accounting through the general ledger entry table.
