Another user is processing (Payroll) computer checks

In GP 10 Payroll, I am selecting Utilities -> Mass Update and receiving this message :

"You cannot update employee information because another user is processing computer checks. Please try again later."

 How can I discover which user is processing the computer checks?

    You can check the following using SQL (let me know if you need more guidance on this part), running it against the company database:

     select * from UPR10200

     

    If no one is actually running a payroll, or has a build in place (you can have users go to Transactions>>Payroll>>Build Checks, and if the Remove Build button is available...they have a build in progress); then there is a routine to run through to clear out the stuck activity.  Let me know if you need it.

    Thats just not goona work, if you dont know which user is processing the computer checks, sometimes by just restarting the error will go away, you can find on the check o Matic Blog a lot of helpful info on this and on computer checks.

    Run these queries:

    select * from Dynamics..UPR10300

    select * from Dynamics..UPR10304
