this is how the new UI Looks. I really don't like this, and i want to roll back to previous UI. can any one tell me how to do that?

I'm not sure that it's possible because Microsoft announced that Dynamics will have total UI revamp in this release (v9.0). You just need to get used to this one because there is no information that old UI will be available in future.
Hi Varma,
You can rollback to previous version whichever you want by resetting instance from admin section where you can select Target version to rollback.
Thanks,

If you reset your instance you will loose all your data!
There is no way to stay on V9 and have the V8 user interface.
There is no way of rolling back. You can reset your instance to a different version (2016, 365 or 9.0), but that means it will be a freshly installed instance, and all of your customizations will be lost.
also if you rollback to a previous version, starting from end of this year/beginning of next year Microsoft will start to update the Online customers to V9, so better spend the next two months to train your users to the new UI
From the screenshot it looks like you are still on the trial version with sample data installed. If this is not a production organization then you can roll back to previous version as mentioned above.

However this will not last forever, all the organization will be moved to V9 eventually. So it would be good for you to adjust to this UI.
You'll get used to it. It's not the first time, and it's probably not the last time when Microsoft is changing the UI.. Feels weird in the first few days, then looks ok.
I think it's a HUGE setback. The amount of information's available on the screen has decreased about 200%. Meaning that the user will have to scroll a lot. The space between the fields/rows are huge meaning that on the space where 6 fields could be displayed before, only 2-3 fields can be displayed now.
Anyone has overcome this limitation?
That's a change - no argument there. Two things to consider, though:
- On the right side of your screenshot, just next to "00002", you have a drop down which allows you to quickly navigate through different tabs on the form. That is supposed to reduce the need for all those controls being displayed on just one screen
- I'm assuming Dynamics is moving everything towards the Unified Interface, and, if you look at the forms there, you'll see the "density" will be even less. That might be one reason similar changes are implemented in the regular web interface, too.
This is rubbish. I spend more time scrolling and tabbing through a crazy number of fields than doing the proper work...
