Management Reporter Column Layout

ReportReport

Hi

Does anyone know how I can create a column layout where the income statement is inverted or flipped?

Rather than having the income statement captions appearing in the row formats, I'd like to see my store locations in the rows and the income statement captions such as Sales, COS, Gross Margin, Expenses appearing in the columns.

Thus rather than having a vertical income statement, I can see a horizontal income statement.

I need to create a report because I have 200 locations/stores and rather than seeing 200 coumns at store level, I can see 5 columns of the income statement and have the 200 stores in a vertical row.

Stuck in a bind....

Thx - -

    RE: Management Reporter Column Layout

You can put anything you want in the row layout and then filter on the row by the unit (using a tree) and then on the link to GL put in all your accounts (0000:9999)

Then on the columns put in which accounts you want per column (again on the filter), So, if your revenue is 41* and your COS is 51* you will only get that.  You can do this all the way across.  Or you can use the categories across the columns if you have it setup for that.  Try it with one store and then progress.

    Should work out nicely.

    RE: Management Reporter Column Layout

    Hi SueC,

Do not understand when you say at Columns design, set which indicator or forluma at column? You mean filter at Reporting Unit when creating column?

I am new to Management reporter, it seems most management prefer to see the income statements department across in a single page rather page by page. So appreciate you could guide me with some screenshots.

As far I know traditional reporting works, but with D365 Operations, I am quite new to MR.

    Thanks.
