Empty Item Transaction Inquiry window

I have this issue with just one item where the transactions are not showing up in the Item Transactions Inquiry window, even though the boxes are all checked to maintain the history for it.  The transactions are visible in the Item History view, and I can pull up all of the transactions in their respective windows, PO's, sales, etc., and I see all of them in their respective SQL tables.  

What was even stranger is that the item disappeared, and then reappeared from nowhere, in the inventory items list.  We are using GP2015R.  What could be causing this?
