Combining "duplicate requisitions" on req sheet for purchase \ transfer order

We are experiencing and issue in which when requisition sheets are run from MRP there will be multiple lines of the same item being ordered in various quantities for the same location. Currently we are pulling these requisition sheets out of NAV and into Excel, combining the /duplicate/ lines and then reuploading the edited Excell workbook into NAV for the purchase and transfer orders. Is there a way to have NAV combine these duplicate lines for us, or is there a configuration we are missing in item // SKU // location?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi
By item, have you configured the SKUs?
It is also indicated there, for example, transfers from one warehouse to another that could be different.
    Best regards

it depends on your setup of the parameters for item planning. If no SKU is used, it means NAV treats each demand seperately. When SKU is used, user could set up a more centralized way of planning.

    for example: for item ABC
location X: sku ABC x,       replenish: transfer from y
location Y: sku ABC y,       replenish:  transfer from z
location Z: sku ABC z,        replenish: purchase

let say there is no inventor of ABC and 2 is needed for X, 3 is needed for Y, 5 is needed for Z.
when NAV finds item ABC is needed, it create a purchase order for Z with qty of 10
then transfer order will be created to move items to X and Y per setup.
