Import phone call activities with multiple recepients

Hi,

I am trying to import phonecall activities using the import tool of MS CRM 2011.

The problem that I am facing is that I need to link both an account and a contact as recepients of the phonecall.

I tried using 2 GUIDS separated by a semi-column but this doesn't work.

Reading this post I am afraid it is not possible: http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/is/crm/thread/e4a3bd81-5ce9-43ab-9e0e-ceba64393728

Can anyone give me a solution/advise?

Thanks a lot!

    Hello Rob,

Unfortunately at this time  the CRM 2011 Import process is only able to recongize one recipient per field. You can however look at create a custom plugin using our SDK processes that could import both recipeints for you.

If you would like to see this feature added to CRM I recommend filling out our product suggestions using the link below.

    Hi Rob,

I doubt this is possible using OOB import feature as it is a single field and it doesn't support delimited values. As a work around, I suggest you to have a look up for account and contact in phone call entity. Use these fields to map the account and contact during the import. Use a workflow or Plugin to later update the phone call recipient. I hope this will work for you!! Please let me know otherwise..

    Thanks Ratheesh,

but My customer was able to send his phone calls to the Notes in the mean time as he really wanted the Time stamp on when the call was created and when the call ended.
