How to insert a child Dialogue into a Process

I have created a Dialogue as a Child process.  The related entity is Opportunity.  I would like to run it from another Parent Opportunity Workflow.

In the Parent Opportunity Workflow, I selected Add Step, Start Child Workflow for Opportunity.  When I click the lookup button to select a value, the Child Process is not displayed in the lookup list.  FYI, both processes are activated.  Any suggestions?

    Can the steps on the "child dialogue" be created into a child workflow?

    I have never used a child dialogue inside a dialogue. I could do some testing next week but I wanted to see if we can solve this today.

    From what I understand then it is not possible to run a Dialogue from an automatic Workflow?  I will try what you suggest above.  Thank you for replying so quickly.

    The reason for this is that Dialogs are a type of process that runs only on demand...workflows can run automatically.

    I changed my automatic process to a child process and called it in the dialogue.  That seems to solve my problem.  Thank you very much for your quick responses.  It truly helped.
