Microsoft Dynamics GP (Archived)

Customer statement (sales)

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

I would like to know if I can customize the default statement to exclude some invoice base on another table (external from GP but in the same MS-SQL server). This table is linked with the customer number.

Then I would like to create another statement page that will add the excluded invoice with the same information as the original statement but with a new contact and address.

Can I do this in Crystal Report?

Thank you for your help.

Martin.

    Hi Martin,

Dynamics GP statements will typically use tables RM00101 (customer master), RM00102 (customer addresses), and RM20101 (open transactions). If you have specific questions about creating your reports or are running into trouble in a particular area, please give some more details and I will try to help.

    GREAT!

Your product look's good. Because our users are not CP user.

Could you lead me to do this a little in Crystal Report?

    Thank you.

    Hi Martin,

Based on what you've described, you can certainly do this in a Crystal report. However, at that point, your users will need to either use Crystal directly to print the statements, or you would need to get an add-on product like our GP Reports Viewer to allow printing/emailing of the statements directly from Dynamics GP.
