Dynamics 365 BC to Dynamics 365 Sales Integration Setup Error

Hi to all.

We are having an issue with the setting up the connection between Dynamics 365 productive company – Purple Line and productive Dynamics 365 Sales (D365 Production Environment).

After running the Assisted Setup – Set up Dynamics 365 Sales Connection from Dynamics 365 BC. there is an error message from the attachment.

Did anyone had same error? If so, how to solve it?

On the other hand, Dynamics 365 BC and Dynamics 365 Sales integration on test (sandbox) environment (and Dynamics 365 BC TEST Company) is working without issues, for same admin and synch users with same permissions and roles.

    Could it be that the account you are using is configured with MFA via Azure policy?

    Hi Marco.

    Thanks for the reply.

    We are not using multi - factor authentication so that is not causing the issue.

    I have found at the following article (github.com/.../5) that Dynamics 365 Sales service (installed on the new instance) is the cause. But unfortunately I still do not have the solution. :)

    Moreover, I have also tried to re - run assisted setup for CDS connection in BC and I got error "The length of the string is 3022 but it must be less than or equal to 2048 characters."

    Hello,

    If Sales is already installed, there is no need to run CDS connection again. This does look like something you should report to Micrososoft via your CSP / partner.

    HI Marco.

    Once again, thanks for the support.

    I know that there is no need to run CDS connection again but we are desperate, trying everything to find solution for D365 BC and D365 Sales integration issue all over.

    Anyway, we have contacted our Microsoft Partners last Wednesday, they also do not have solution yet.

    Hello,

    We are here waiting for your partner to connect to us. Do you think this is more related to CRM or BC? Ask them to ensure that the support team you would like to connect to is the correct one (could be CRM / BC). Here it says "remote server" and that is CRM so you may want to cross post this question in the CRM forums as well if your partner is not yet ready to raise a ticket with us.

    Thanks for the prompt reply.

    I am of the opinion that there is an issue with CDS initial setup (and / or D365 Sales service on the new instance on Productive environment). Again, it is working properly on TEST Company BC integrated with SANDBOX D365 Sales environment.

    I have posted Dynamics 365 BC to Dynamics 365 Sales Integration Setup Error topic also on CRM forums and D365 User Groups Discussion Forums but still I did not get to the solution.
