Hi,
 
Is it possible to set up a workflow or something else to send a sales offer and terms of agreement as attachments in a template email directly from F&O?
 
 
E.g.
  • standard heading+sales offer number
  • sales offer pdf as an attachment
  • our terms of agreement as an attachment

    Thanks for raising this question. This seems to be a common challenge when working with Dynamics configurations and integrations. Checking permissions, field mappings, and recent system changes is often a good starting point for troubleshooting. Hopefully someone from the community who has encountered the same issue can share a working solution.

    Workflow itself mainly controls approval process, not advanced attachment handling.

    So for your requirement, you can try:

    • Power Automate or  customization for additional Terms & Conditions attachment.

    I doubt that this is possible. I think you would need a document output tool for such functionality.Best regards,

    Yes, you can achieve this using email template and share the same attachment in the email.

    Hi, are you referring to sales quotation form or what? please clarify the navigation as there is some confusion due to word "Sales offer", it's better if you can send the screenshot from where you are getting this print document.
     
    In case, it is handled through print management and you have ER configuration files, either you can extend it to include these terms of conditions under the same print document. OR through ER, you can even send the complete attachment through Email.. Once you provide above clarity, i will try to share the next steps..

    @CA Neeraj Kumar we would like to send a sales quotation or sales order confirmation together with this attachement. Is there another way to send sales quotations and order confirmations as a pdf  than via the print management?

    @Subra I tried to use the template function, but could not find a way to insert attachements anywhere. How would you set up the template function to send both the quotation/corfimation and the attachement as an pdf direct from FO?

    To be more clear on the email template, you can attach the document using X++ customization and we don't have any feature with out of the box functionality.

    Kindly let me know if you need any help with customization.
