Quote close as lost Description

hi all i have a requirement to gather all quote lost description that is typed in by sales user when he clicks "Close quote" and picks the "status" reason and enters description. I expected the description on the Quote close activity but it is not there and Searched all quote fields and the description field on it is empty.

I am puzzled  and also ran sql profiler to see if i catch it there but it is returning as not found when i search.

very confused. could help me with this by any chance?

    Hi Likki,

    When a user clicks the "Close Quote" button, and selects a "Status Reason", "Close Date" and "Description", then the standard behaviour is that a new Activity with an "Activity Type" of 'Quote Close' is created. This new Quote Close activity will have the information you entered after clicking the "Close Quote" button. However, if this is not happening then there may be a bug or other issue in your system.
