Dynamics CRM - create custom system settings panel for solution

I am developing a solution for Microsoft Dynamics 365. As a a solution, it's a ZIP file that I upload to Dynamics with all needed customization. Now I need to have a settings panel in Dynamics in order to store custom system settings that will be used by the uploaded solution to make it work. I didn't see a way to customize the system dialog box (by adding a new tab and settings for example) or even by adding a new system feature. What would be the best way to do it ?
