Microsoft has released the following in the new 11.1.18 Dynamics 365 licensing guide and wanted to ask if anybody knew how they were going to handle the following from an application standpoint. What makes up the 15 custom entities for a Team or Dynamics 365 Pro user?

Dynamics 365 Team Members/Sales Professional/Customer Service Professional
1. Create and modify records associated with 15 custom entities (per application) in addition to the included “out-of-the-box" entities

a. There is no limit on read rights for custom entities

2. Custom entities should be within the context of the application module

3.Full CRUD on data records associated with custom entities

    Hi HBH,

A custom entity is essentially any entity that is not included out of the box.

All entities have a hidden ObjectTypeCode value. ObjectTypeCode values below 10000 are reserved for Microsoft Dynamics CRM system entities, and custom entities have an ObjectTypeCode value greater than or equal to 10000. This value can be used to determine the amount of custom entities a user can access.

    Hi,

Is the 15 entities limit per solution or across Dynamics CRM?

    Thanks

I believe it is at dynamics CRM instance level not on solutions level.

    Hope this helps.
