Hello together,
quick question: Is it somehow possible to acquire more than three Sandbox instances in one Online tenant? Has anyone made a request like this to Microsoft before?

As a end user we made a request about 2 years ago. The answer was no expect under special circumstance. But this was about 2 years ago.
Special circumstance: if you have 3 Sandbox but you ask Microsoft to recover one enlivenment for you than for short period of time (like a month I think) you can have that recovered environment extra to your 3 Sandbox.
3 is the limit unless you just have done a restore or some special operation like that. Just as MahGah said.
If you need more than that i recommend you use Docker containers.

There is an option, activating Dynamics 365 Business Central Additional Environment Add-on as a paid service ( you can get the price per month from your CSP ) your SaaS environment capacity will include 1 more Production environment plus 3 sandboxes.

Hi, You cannot add a Sandbox environment separately. As Horia mentioned, for each Production environment you purchase, 3 Sandbox environments will be added automatically.
If you need a Sandbox for testing, now consider New Partner Sandbox Environmentsin addition to Docker.
