Autofill Fields from another entity

Hi experts,

In my project service entity form I have created a field "Primary Contact" which is a lookup from the contact entity. I also created a field called "Phone Number".

Now, when the user selects the contact from the lookup field, I would like the phone number field to automatically be populated corresponding to that contact.

How can I establish this without coding? Also, I would like for the field to populate on selection of the lookup and not on save of the form.

Thanks,

Jon

    Hi Jon,

You can create a Quick View Form for contact entity and add it on Project Service Entity.

    Please refer this link:

You don't need any code. The phone field has to be a calculated field. Then you can configure the calculation to be the same as the Contact's phone.

    Regards,

    Nicolás.
