Dear community
For a current project (CRM 2015 on-premise with separate CRM and SQL servers) I need to import contacts and account from Switzerland. Since the data is in german it contains german umlaut (ä ö ü...). The number of contacts is to large to use XML as format due to the file size restriction. Therefore I use csv file format. I have done this many times before and it worked just fine, but in the current project all "umlaut" characters are imported as unknown characters (representet in CRM as "?").
I'm pretty sure the solution to the problem is a language setting. I'm just not shure which one (Windows, application,...) and where (CRM Server, SQL Server).
In case you have an idea, any help is welcome.
