For those of you printing and emailing Sales Order Processing documents, you will be excited to know we added additional functionality surrounding the printing and emailing feature.
In the Print Sales documents window, there is now an option called “Print ALL Documents”. With the addition of this option there is now even more flexibility to print/email exactly how you want.
The "Print All Documents”, gives you the ability to tell Microsoft Dynamics GP when you want to actually print out all documents regardless if it was emailed or not. When you select E-mail and Print All documents the system will E-mail every document it can, then print all documents included in the range regardless if emailed or not. You can also select both 'Print Document' and 'Send Document in E-mail', and Microsoft Dynamics GP will E-mail every document it can, then print all other documents not setup for email.
To see this functionality, go to Sales >> Transactions >> Print Sales Documents
Below I will illustrate how this new functionality works.
Let’s assume I have 4 documents entered in my range. Three of them are setup for email and one is not.
Scenario 1: Marking only Send Documents in E-mail.
Scenario 2: Marking the following two options. GP would email every document setup for email and then print ALL documents in the range regardless if setup for email or not.
The system will E-mail the following documents
The system will then also print All documents as well
Scenario 3. Marking the following two options. GP will E-mail everything it can and print the remaining.
The system will then also print the one documents as well
Hope this explains a little more about the functionality and gives you more flexibly when printing Sales documents.
