The Microsoft Dynamics Community allows you to easily control what information is made public about your profile and activities. Use this guide to understand how to manage your profile and privacy settings. Your profile Display Name -- This is the name you used when you signed up for the Microsoft Dynamics Community, and is displayed with all your site activities. To update it, go to the Basic Options tab of the Settings page (click on your profile icon in the top right of the page, then Settings). The following fields that make up your profile are publicly available to other members and search engines, so only enter this information if you want to share it. To add or update these, go to your Profile page by clicking your profile icon in the upper-right of the site, and then select Profile. From this page, click Edit Profile. Avatar -- Your avatar image is displayed alongside your community activity as you participate in the community. Many members use a personal photo, but if you want more anonymity you may leave this empty and a default image will be used, or you can use a more generic image instead. About -- This field is a good place to describe professional information about yourself, such as your title and additional information about your company. It will appear at the top of your profile page. First Name, Last Name Company -- If you would like to share the name of the company you represent, enter it here. Location -- You can share your location in as much detail as you want (e.g., USA / North Dakota, USA / Fargo, ND, USA). Public Email -- If you would like to share your email address, enter it here. Note that this is separate from the Microsoft Account email address you use to sign in with. Primary Role -- Select the role that applies to you here. Twitter URL LinkedIn YouTube Blog Website Google+ -- Use this field to enable Google authorship for your Microsoft Dynamics Community blog. Learn more about how to setup Google Authorship. Activity Feed As you participate in the community, your actions are shared in the activity feed displayed on your profile, as well as the activity feeds in each product community. If you wish to delete a specific action you've taken, you may hover over that item and click "Delete".
