Hi everyone, I`m making a plugin that needs to call an external Web Service.

This is intended to work on the new CRM 2013 Online, so the plugin must be registered on SandBox mode. This is possible?

I read on a few sites that on CRM on premise this is possible, but I never found anything related to CRM Online,

Thanks,

Best Regards

Tiago Santos.

Hi Tiago,

Yes - you can call an external Web Service from a SandBox plugin provided it doesn't require any integrated authentication and doesn't use an IP address - see the following article for more information - msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg334752.aspx

Hope this helps,

Scott

I not too sure is this information is relevant to this.

Based on my experience, I knew we can create plugin / WF Assembly to CRM 2011 online by using the Plugin Registration Tools. But the URL to link to is not the common URL as per what we use for On Premise. I not really remember on it now but if not wrong it is related to the region your Org is located.
