How to restrict the batch in business central so that one user cannot switch to another

By default, users should not be able to switch to the bucket of another user. Such access should only be available to specific users who are given such access/ permission (To be specified during implementation).By default, users should not be able to switch to the bucket of another user.     Hi, If you are referring to general journal batches, I recommend using Security Filter, this doesn't require customization.

    PS: If you refer to company permissions, you can restrict users in the User Card.

    If you are referring to the permissions of the environment, you can use Security Group.

    How to restrict the batch in business central so that one user cannot switch to another
    It seems BC doesn't support controlling permissions to such detail. Maybe you could consider setup a workflow to control posting of journals.
    You could find out who did the posting by adding user id as below to audit. Many things could be better controlled through internal processes, training etc as well.
