I would like to know that in version 9. can we create and run reports for the Service Activity entity.
Yes, we can do it.
You only need to follow the steps in this user guide to create and run reports for service activity entity.
First please make sure you have the System Administrator security role or equivalent permissions in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
1) Go to Sales > Reports. Click New.
2) Click Report Wizard button, then click Next.
3) Enter Report Name. In the Primary record type field, select Service Activities, click Next. Define a filter to determine which records are included in your report. Complete the remaining steps.
4) After creating the report, you could click the Run Report button in this window. Or in the Reports screen, select the report and click the RUN REPORT button above.
The above are the steps to create a report.
In addition, since this is a problem about Sales, not about AI for Sales, I recommend that you move this post to Sales forum.

Thank you for your suggestions. These are really helpful. However I am curios to know whether I can run the reports when I navigate as follows :
Sales > Activities > Service Activities >Select the Service Activity records > Run Report
Get the Service Activity Reports through Advanced Find > Run Report
I tried the above approaches but I couldn't see the report included in the options when I click Run Reports. Am I missing something?
After my test, the first method you said was able to run the report. (Sales > Activities > Service Activities >Select the Service Activity records > Run Report)
If there is no report content, modify the filter.
The second way is that the report cannot run. The button is in a grayed out state. (Advanced Find > Run Report)
