What's happening?

When creating an email in Customer Insights - Journeys, the font set for the email body (sans-serif) is not applied correctly to content generated using personalization tags. The resulting personalized content displays a different font than intended.

Reason:

This occurs due to spaces between paragraphs encoded with font face in HTML, and the system lagging when multiple changes are made simultaneously. Additionally, selecting all text using the mouse causes the system to not acknowledge the changes properly.

Resolution:

To resolve this, follow these steps:

  1. Remove any spaces between paragraphs that are encoded with font face in HTML.
  2. Save each change individually and verify after each save to ensure the changes are applied correctly.
  3. When selecting text to apply changes, avoid using the mouse to select all text. Instead, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A to select all text. This ensures the system acknowledges unsaved changes properly.

Following these steps should resolve the issue with fonts not applying correctly when previewing personalized email content.
