What's happening?

Installation of Customer Insights application fails in the production environment. The installation either explicitly states that "Admin mode is enabled" even though it is not.

Reason:

The installation failure can occur due to one of the following reasons:

  • Platform issue incorrectly indicating that Admin mode is enabled.

Resolution:

Perform the following troubleshooting steps based on the specific scenario encountered:

Admin Mode Incorrectly Indicated as Enabled

  1. Sign in to the Power Platform admin center using Environment Admin or System Administrator role credentials.
  2. From the left-side menu, select Environments, and then select the affected sandbox, production, or trial environment.
  3. On the Details page, locate the Administration mode setting.
  4. Toggle the Administration mode from Enabled to Disabled.
  5. Optionally, adjust the Background operations settings if required.
  6. Save the changes.
  7. Retry the installation of Customer Insights.
