What's happening?
Installation of Customer Insights application fails in the production environment. The installation either explicitly states that "Admin mode is enabled" even though it is not.
Reason:
The installation failure can occur due to one of the following reasons:
- Platform issue incorrectly indicating that Admin mode is enabled.
Resolution:
Perform the following troubleshooting steps based on the specific scenario encountered:
Admin Mode Incorrectly Indicated as Enabled
- Sign in to the Power Platform admin center using Environment Admin or System Administrator role credentials.
- From the left-side menu, select Environments, and then select the affected sandbox, production, or trial environment.
- On the Details page, locate the Administration mode setting.
- Toggle the Administration mode from Enabled to Disabled.
- Optionally, adjust the Background operations settings if required.
- Save the changes.
- Retry the installation of Customer Insights.
