PSA: ‘;–have i been pwned?

Over the last few years there have been some high profile security breaches where hackers have been able to steal user information and credentials from various websites and publish the details.
Would you like a way to know if your credentials have been caught up in the hack?
Well now you can…. and safely too.
Australian Microsoft MVP, Troy Hunt, created the site Have I been pwned? (in his words):
I created Have I been pwned? as a free resource for anyone to quickly assess if they may have been put at risk due to an online account of theirs having been compromised or “pwned” in a data breach. I wanted to keep it dead simple to use and entirely free so that it could be of maximum benefit to the community.
Check if your email addresses have been exposed here:

Thanks to Virginia for making me aware of this cool site.
Let me know how you went in the comments.
David
PS: My email address showed up in one of the breaches (not Ashley Madison) but my password has been changed since.
