Save Clicks in Dynamics CRM with Date Fields

Selecting from the calendar taking too long? For today’s CRM Tip we want to show you how Microsoft Dynamics CRM allows you to enter the month and day into a date field and will pre-populate the current year for you. Saving you clicks and entry time.

1. Click on the date field you want to enter
2. Enter the month and date with a “/” or “-“ between
3. Click or tab off of the date field and the field will be correctly formatted with the current year
   1. Not the right year? Simply click back in the date field and change the year
   2. Click or Tab off the field
