Microsoft Dynamics GP Version 10 was released on May 4, 2007. (Not to be confused with the similarly named Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 (Version 11) that was released in May 2010 or Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 R2 that was released in May 2011). Oh how fast the years fly by. Microsoft Dynamics GP 10 is now considered OLD! Microsoft stopped mainstream support for Microsoft Dynamics GP version 10.0 on October 9, 2012. (Extended support will be ending on October 10, 2017).
Most Dynamics GP users get their support directly from their local Dynamics GP partners. CAL offers Microsoft Dynamics GP support for very very old versions. But what about payroll updates? Don’t worry because Microsoft will be releasing a 2012 Year-End Update to all Payroll customers. They will also have a Round 1 U.S. tax tables for 2013 Payroll reporting. But there will be no other releases after that for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0. Microsoft Dynamics GP users can find more information on the tax updates here on Customersource.
The next release will be Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 which is scheduled for December 1, 2012.
If you are using Microsoft Dynamics 10 now you can choose to skip all the way to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 when it is released. But you must upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 or Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 to receive any further regulatory and or code updates following the January 2013 Round 1 Tax Update.
