Using Outlook to Read Our Site
While this article isn’t directly about Microsoft Dynamics NAV, it’s a helpful tips for folks who want to keep tabs on our new content, but don’t want to have to visit the site.
Microsoft Outlook supports RSS feeds, which is a fancy way of saying that you can read published content as if they were just emails. Let’s look at all you have to do:
Copy the RSS Feed to Clipboard
First, decide if you want to read everything we publish, or individual Categories.
To read all content, in the header above, we have the RSS icon:

Right-click on it, selecting Copy Shortcut, Copy Link Address or Copy Link Address (depending on your preferred browser).
To read just one category, such as NAV Usage, open up the NAV Usage page. In the description, you’ll find there is a RSS feed you can copy to clipboard in the description.
Add the RSS Feed to Outlook
In Microsoft Outlook 2010 (and other versions), you’ll find there is a menu item in the Mail area called RSS Feeds:

Right-click on RSS Feeds and choose to Add a New RSS Feed. Paste the link from above in the pop-up, then click Add. Outlook will ask you for confirmation that you trust the feed, so click Yes.
Within a moment or two (depending on your internet speed), you should have some of the most recent entries pop into your folder. As new content is published, it will be added automatically as unread items.
