Business Central addresses this challenge by enabling users to add attachments for specific email scenarios through the
Set Scenario Attachments
action on the
Email Scenario Assignment
page. This feature simplifies the process of including necessary documentation in your business emails, ensuring consistency and compliance with just a few clicks.
On the
Email Scenario Attachments
page, users can manage multiple files, making them available as default attachments by choosing the
Add File
action. An
Attach by Default
toggle further refines this functionality, allowing users to specify which attachments are added by default to emails for particular scenarios and which are optional.
How It Works: An Example
Consider a sales quote email scenario where it's crucial to include terms and conditions with every message. By turning on the
Attach by Default
toggle for the relevant document, Business Central automatically inserts this attachment into every draft email for the sales quote scenario, streamlining the process and ensuring no crucial document is forgotten.
Flexibility for Varied Business Needs
Business Central's default attachment feature caters to diverse business requirements by allowing for variations in email scenarios. Some attachments might be necessary for every instance of a scenario, while others are only needed under specific conditions. The

action gives users the flexibility to choose additional default attachments from those listed on the
