The momentum behind Women in Power continues to grow as the community expands its impact across mentorship, skilling, and AI innovation within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. 🌍💜
This week, Women in Power launched its first skilling session focused on agent development in Copilot Studio, attracting more than 70 attendees from around the globe. The event marked another milestone for the community as members came together to learn, build, and collaborate in real time.
🤖 Building AI Agents Together — Live and Hands-On
The inaugural session of the Women in Power Skilling Series featured an interactive workshop led by Delia Zuniga, MBA, where participants built a Status Tracker Agent in Copilot Studio from scratch.
More than 70 community members joined live to follow along in a hands-on experience centered around practical learning and collaboration.
- ✅ Built Topics with Adaptive Card inputs
- ✅ Mapped variables including blockers, risks, priorities, and dependencies
- ✅ Connected a Power Automate flow to submit real data
- ✅ Followed along using a live Admin Build Guide
The event demonstrated exactly what Women in Power aims to foster: hands-on learning experiences where community members can grow their technical skills together in an encouraging and inclusive environment.
🌱 Mentorship Continues to Scale
Beyond technical skilling, Women in Power has also launched two new mentoring cohorts with more than 300 mentees actively participating.
